Family: Eldest child and only son of MCPO Galen Tyrol and Specialist Cally Tyrol (deceased); Stepson of Lt.(?) Diana Seelix-Tyrol; Elder half-brother of Jane Tyrol.

Other relationships of note: Gets along well with anyone and everyone, regardless of rank or background, but is especially close to the other kids of command-structure officers and NCOs. Has his own deck gang of other young flight deck crewmen. Generally oblivious to the attentions of Anne Adama.

Resides: Aboard the battlestar Galactica with his dad, stepmom, sister and friends.

Profile: Nicky Tyrol is the guy everyone counts on to be the laid-back, relaxed voice in the group. He's supremely comfortable with who he is and what he does, thinks being a deckhand and mechanic is great, and looks forward to taking after his old man as Chief but isn't in a hurry to, and is just generally good with everything. He's also the younger generation's scrounger, making deals with other crew and other ships to get people the little nice things they want for trade. On occasion, he has been known to be moved by the urge to breakdance on the flight deck.
